How to Make Cuban Coffee 

Cuban Coffee

Cuban Coffee is most parts of the world is called Espresso. Although, Cuban's don't drink it with a zest of lemon.

We usually like are Cuban Coffee with "Cafe con Leche" in the morning, and then we like a shot in the afternoon.

Making Cuban Coffee should be easy if you just follow the manufactures directions, right? ... Well, if you want it look like the picture, you'll need to learn from the best. My sister! My sister is the world's best at making Cuban Coffee ... so last time she was visiting she gave me a Cuban Coffee Making 101! Here you go...

Steps to Making Cuban Coffee
more pictures coming soon 1. Pour cold water into your espresso maker, usually up to the bolt on the inside (When using a traditional cuban coffee maker.)
  2. Fill the espresso maker with coffee grounds. Screw the espresso maker together and place on a hot burner.  Make sure to use oven mitts when removing the Cuban coffee maker, it will get hot.
  3. In a metal cup or mug, add about 2 Tablespoons of sugar.
4. As the coffee begins to percolate, pour enough coffee into your cup to moisten the sugar. Using a small spoon, quickly mix the moistened sugar and coffee together until it becomes a paste.
Cuban Coffee 5. Once the coffee is done, slowly pour it into the sugar mixture while mixing it gently.  If correctly done (may need some practice), the sugar mixture will create a foam. Mix in the rest of the coffee… and this is how you can make the perfect cup of Cuban Coffee.
Cuban Coffee 6. Serve into individual cups.
